Drawing from the natural world, Joshua Werber's work is an exploration of emotion through the act of creation. Werber’s lush aesthetic and sculptural approach to flowers playfully ornament and engage the interior or exterior landscape. Designing provides him with the opportunity to intuitively trust, feel, and to allow the material to guide its own creation. His work is driven by a desire to create unique pieces and environments through which the participant can experience transformation.
His work has been featured in T Magazine, Vogue, Elle India, The New York Times, and The New York Post. Recent events and clients include: Highline Hat Party (2018 & 2019), The Brooklyn Botanical Garden Gala (2018 & 2019), Chlöe Sevigny, Rhianna, Ferragamo, Club Monaco, Opening Ceremony, Miu Miu & Valentino. Werber is also featured in the book, “Blooms: Contemporary Floral Design” published by Phaidon Press, and his floral hijab graces the cover of “The New Black Vanguard” published by The Aperture Foundation.
